Ingredients for fresh tomato salad
- 250 gm tomato
- 1 onion
- 1 teaspoon mustard oil
- 4 green chilies
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon coriander leaves
Process for fresh tomato salad
- Slice tomato into cube size with a sharp knife.
- Add onion slice, chili slice, salt, coriander leaves, and mustard oil.
- Mix with a hand gently. (In Bangladesh, there is a saying: “If you use hand directly for cooking the taste of food is increase”)
- Serve it with white rice.

Ingredients for tomato Kashmiri chutney
- 1 kg tomato
- 1 cup vinegar
- ½ cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon red chili
- 1 teaspoon ginger slice
Process for tomato Kashmiri chutney
- Cut tomato into 4 slices.
- Add sugar, Vinegar, chili slice and ginger slice.
- Cook it over low heat until it becomes sticky.
- Keep it in a glass jar.
- Serve it with pulao, biryani or even white rice.
