Mashed Potato Recipes
Its preparation and recipe ingredients are very simple. It is just a combination of mashed potato, oil, onion, and chili.

Ingredients for mashed potato recipes:
- 4-5 medium size potato
- 1 pcs onion slices
- 1 tablespoon mustard oil (you can use any other edible oil)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3-4 pcs green chili
- 2 teaspoons cilantro leaves, sliced
- 1 pcs tomato (optional)
- 1 pcs boiled egg (optional)
Process
- Wash all potatoes and boil in water over high beam until potatoes are soft and can break on pressing.
- Alternately you can boil in the microwave oven at high temperature for 9 minutes. In that case, make some hole in potatoes with a fork and add water and little salt with potatoes into an oven-proof dish.
- After potatoes are boiled remove skin and mash it well.
- Add onion slice, green chili slices and cilantro leaves slices to the mashed potato.
- Add oil and salt, and mix it well.
- to make it tastier add boiled egg and sliced tomato to the mashed potato.

Ingredients
- 10 pcs medium size potato
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder

Process

- Remove skin and apply all spices except oil.

Chop Potato Recipes
It is a combination of mashed potato, bread-crumb, and egg with ingredients inside called as pour. With all other ingredients, potato chop becomes healthy food with considerable food value.

Ingredients for chop potato recipes:
- 5-6 pcs boiled and Mashed Potato
- 2 pcs onions
- 2 pcs eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4-5 pcs green chilies
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ½ cup breadcrumb
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Process
- Wash all potatoes and boil in water over high beam until potatoes are soft and can break on pressing.
- After potatoes are boiled remove skin and mash it well.
- Mix salt with the mashed boiled potatoes.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onion slices, green chilies and one egg to the oil.
- Make pour by frying all other ingredients in the pan.
- Add lemon juice and salt with the pour.
- Make small egg shape rolls with mashed potato putting 1 tsp pour inside.
- Beat one egg and keep aside.
- Apply egg and breadcrumb on the outer surface of the potato rolls.
- Heat oil in a pan again and put the rolls when oil is hot enough.
- Fry the rolls over medium heat till their color turns to golden or light brown.
- Take the rolls out of the pan dropping oil in a kitchen towel.
- Potato chops are ready to eat. Serve as a with the afternoon tea. It also goes well with white rice or fried rice.

- 2 pcs eggs
- 1 cup of vegetable oil

- Mix lemon juice and salt with mashed potato.

- Make small flat egg-shaped cutlets with the mashed potato putting 1 tsp onion and egg mixture inside.
- Beat the eggs and dip the cutlets into the egg, then apply breadcrumb.
- Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy on all sides.
- Strain out the cutlets from the pan on a kitchen towel to soak the extra oil.
- Serve it as a snack, or as a side dish during dinner or lunch.

Aloor Dhom (Potato Crush) potato recipes
Aloor Dhom or spicy crushed potato is a very popular menu to many Bengalis (Bengali speaking people of Bangladesh and North-East India). By mixing of hot spices with little tamarind sour, it is usually prepared as a side dish for eating paratha and chapatti.
