- 1 head cauliflower, leaves removed and separate into small florets
- 1 head broccoli, separate into small florets
- 50g butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cup liquid milk
- Salt as per taste
- 1 pinch thyme
- 1 pinch black pepper powder
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4-5 garlic cloves
Instructions
- Wash cauliflower and broccoli. Separate the floret from
cauliflower and broccoli into small pieces. - Take one cup of broccoli and one cup of cauliflower. Put the vegetables
into the microwave oven-proof dish. Add 2 cups water and boil for 5 minutes or until fork-tender. Strain and keep them aside. - Meanwhile, cook the sauce. Heat butter in a pan. Add garlic cloves
and fry until transcalent. Add flour and fry it. Add milk, pepper, salt to the flour. Cook until thick. - Put vegetables in a casserole. Pour the sauce over the vegetables.
Sprinkle thymes over the sauce. Cover with shredded cheese. - Preheat the oven. Bake the broccoli cauliflower casserole recipe
