Here I am going to share two kinds of arum root leaves fry. These are easy to cook and healthy as well. There are many kinds of arum root leaves. But here I used green color and small size leaves for these recipes. Some arum root leaves are poisonous, so you need to identify and never use those for cooking. I have chosen the proper arum leaves, which are safe for this recipe.

Ingredients for arum root leaves fry
- 500 gm arum root leaves
- 2 tablespoons garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons onion
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cumin powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
Process for arum root leaves fry
- Wash the arum leaves very well.
- Cut the leaves into Julian and take in a pan.
- Add garlic paste and salt.
- Boil it and keep it for cooling. Put leaves in a blender and smash it very well.
- Heat oil in another frying pan.
- Add onion slice, turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin powder and salt.
- Put mashed arum root leaves into the pan.
- Stir it until dry.
- Arum root fry is ready to serve.
- Serve it with white rice.

Ingredients arum root leaves fry with prawn
- 500 gm arum root leaves
- 1 tablespoon onion slice
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoons garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 100 gm small size prawns
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon oil
Process for root leaves fry with prawn
- Cut arum root leaves approximately ½ inch by ½ inch size.
- Wash the leaves with warm water. Clean and wash prawn. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan over low heat. Or try to use an induction cooktop. It is very safe for cooking.
- Add onion slice, garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, chili powder, and salt to the oil.
- Add prawns to the spice mixture.
- Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat.
- Add arum root leaves slice to the prawn mixture. Stir it for 3 to 5 minutes. Cover with a lid.
- Cook until all leaves are tender and finely mixed with prawn and spices. When water dries up the arum root leaves fry is ready to serve.
- Turn off the burner and take out the arum root leaves fry from the pan.
- Serve the leaves fry with white rice.
